World Library and Information Congress: 72nd IFLA General Conference and Council"Libraries: Dynamic Engines for the Knowledge and Information Society"20-24 August 2006, Seoul, Korea Call for PapersHealth and Biosciences Libraries SectionThe Health and Biosciences Libraries Section invites librarians, health informaticians, knowledge managers, educators, researchers, clinical staff and others to submit proposals for papers, to be given in a 2 hour session as part of the program of the WLIC, which provide insight and experience of the role of new technologies in supporting access and delivery of health and health information. Theme:What's new in technology for health information?Proposals:Proposals for papers should deal with the use of new technology to improve access to health information for both patients, the public and healthcare professionals. Those looking to improve access in developing countries are particularly welcome. Proposals, in English, and abstracts of 200 words should be sent by 28th February, 2006. Final papers should not exceed 15 pages double-spaced and should be submitted by the 1st May; the presentations should not exceed twenty minutes in length.
