The words "The Art Libraries' Role in a World without Borders" should not necessarily mean digital world and the activity of the art libraries in the cyber space. Off-site workshop For further interactive discussion of the practical issues related to the up-mentioned theme, the Art Libraries Section is pleased to announce its intention to hold an off-site workshop during the conference on the theme "Objects and projects : art libraries developing partnerships and tools towards sharing knowledge/a better understanding/ discovering common treasures". One of the topics for presentations at the workshop could be: "Towards a cartography of the web in art history" Proposals for possible new collaborative projects for the Art Libraries Section are most welcome at the workshop.
