Call for Papers - Africa Section

The IFLA/Africa Section of invites invites information professionals of the region to participate in the Paper presentaiton at the IFLA General Conference In Berlin, Deutchland, 1st-2nd August 2003. The selected papers will be presented during the Africa Section Open Forum at the IFLA Conference.

"Libraries and cultural values in the changing information world: African perspective"

  1. Papers must be original and have never been published before.
  2. Papers should be of 20 pages maximum, two-double space.
  3. They should be in English or French with an abstract of one page in the same language.
  4. 20 minutes will be allowed for the delivery of the paper.
  5. Papers may be submitted by e.mail, fax or post.
  6. The author should indicate his/her personal full contact and a summary of the curriculum vitae.
  7. Deadline for sumitting abstract is 13 December 2002.

Selection:

Members of IFLA/Africa Section, inclunding the Regional Manager will select the best papers in January 2003. The successful applicants wil be informed by February 2003.
